Muss I Denn(떠나자 이 도시를)

Shakadak Band

Shakatak are an English jazz-funk band, founded in 1980.

"Muss i denn" (German: "Muss i denn") is a German folk song in the Swabian German dialect.

The present form dates back to 1827, when it was written and made public by Friedrich Silcher.[1]

The melody and some verses of this song became widely known through Elvis Presley's adaptation

"Wooden Heart" in 1960, as well as Joe Dowell's version in 1961, becoming one of the most widely

known German songs ever.[2]

Muss I denn, muss i denn zum stadtele hinaus
Stadtele hinaus, und du mein Schatz, bleibst hier!
Muss I denn, muss i denn zum stadtele hinaus
Stadtele hinaus, und du mein Schatz, bleibst hier!

Wooden Heart-Elvis Presley from G.I.Blues

Can't you see
I love you
Please don't break my heart in two
That's not hard to do
'Cause I don't have a wooden heart
And if you say goodbye
Then I know that I would cry
Maybe I would die
'Cause I don't have a wooden heart
There's no strings upon
This love of mine
It was always you from the start
Treat me nice, treat me good
Treat me like you really should
'Cause I'm not made of wood
And I don't have a wooden heart
Muss I denn, muss I denn
Zum stadtele hinaus
Stadtele hinaus
Und du, mein Schatz, bleibst hier?
Muss I denn, muss I denn
Zum stadtele
