희망의 속삭임

나의 처지가 아무리 어려워도, 시국이 아무리 어려워도,사는 날 까지 긍정의 마음과 내일의 희망을 갖고

착하고 의롭고 진실된 삶을 추구하며,한편으로는 내려 놓음의 훈련을 합니다.

Soft as the voice of an angel 소리 없는 숨결로 

Breathing a lesson unheard 천사의 음성 같은 부드러움과

Hope with a gentle persuation 따사로운 설득으로 , 위로의 속삭임으로

Whispers her comforting word 희망을 알려주네 

Wait till the darkness is over 어둠이 지날 때 까지 기다리라 하네            

Wait till the tempest is done 폭풍우 지날 때 까지 기다리라 하네

Hope for the sunshine tomorrow 소낙비 지난 후 찬란한 내일이 있듯      

After the shower is gone 희망을 간직하고 기다리라 하네

 

Whispering hope 희망을 속삭이는

Oh, how welcome thy voice 그대의 음성

Making my heart in it`s sorrow rejoice 나의 슬픔을 기쁨으로 바꾸네

If in the dusk of the twilight 내 마음 땅거미지는 어둠속에 있어도

Dim be the region a far 저 멀리 희미한 어둠속에 있어도

Will not the deepening darkness 슬픈 마음 더 깊지 않게 하고

Brighten the glimmering star 반짝이는 별 처럼 빛나게 하네

Then when the night is upon us 우리에게 밤이 찾아 온다 하여도

Why should the heart sink away  마음이 어두움에 가라 앉는다 하여도

When the dark midnight is over 깊은 밤이 지나고 나면

Watch for breaking of day 밝아 오는 아침을 바라보게 하네
