Thomas "Tom T." Hall (born May 25, 1936, in Olive Hill, Kentucky) is an American country balladeer, songwriter, and country singer. .

☆ whippoorwill:북미산 쏙독새의 일종

1923년 Doane Robinson(historian)이란 사람이 South Dakoda주 관광객 유치를 목적으로 구상한 것을 1925년 미의회의 승인을 받아 조각가 Gutzon Borglum과 그의 아들 Lincoln Borglum이 1927년 10월에 시작하여 1941년 10월 31일 완성하였다 함.화강암 바위산에 미국 건국초기 150년의 대표적 지도자(대통령) 4명의 얼굴을 조각한 것으로 하루 동원인력이 약 400명이었다 하며, 년간 관광객수는 15백만명 가까이 된다고 합니다. (Wikipedia참조)
