Leroy Anderson
Leroy Anderson was an American composer of short, light concert pieces, many of which were introduced by the Boston Pops Orchestra under the direction of Arthur Fiedler. John Williams described him as "one of the great American masters of light orchestral music."Wikipedia
Leroy Anderson(1908~1975) : Harvard College에서 음악을 전공한 작곡가. Arther Fiedler가 이끄는 Boston Pops Orchestra를 통하여 그의 작품들이 많이 소개되었으며,우리의 귀에 익숙하여진 Sleigh Ride (1948) , 어린이 만화와 함께 소개된 The Waltzing Cats(1950), Blue Tango(1951) 등 많은 작품을 남겼음.
