“I am writing to inform you of a deeply troubling development in South Korea that directly impacts free speech, election transparency, and the integrity of public discourse.

The Korean National Election Commission (NEC) has officially published a series of graphics on X targeting one specific account: ‘The SCIF’ (@TheSCIF) — an American analyst whose work has been repeatedly retweeted and quoted by President Trump.

They labeled his election-related posts as ‘false,’ ordered the deletion of user posts across Korean platforms, and announced ongoing monitoring and takedown measures.

This is not a fact-check.

This is a state authority issuing a political verdict against an American citizen without transparency, evidence, or public scrutiny.

What makes this even more serious:

1. The SCIF is not an obscure account.

President Trump himself has retweeted or quoted The SCIF more than a dozen times — not only the A-WEB analysis, but multiple posts concerning intelligence, corruption, and election issues.

Trump’s repeated amplification shows a clear level of trust and credibility.

2. The NEC provided no data, no technical explanation, and no audit trails.

They simply declared:

‘These claims are impossible in real elections.’

‘A-WEB has no connection to irregularities.’

‘Court rulings have already proven these claims false.’

None of this is supported with technical details or verifiable evidence.

3. There is a structural conflict of interest the NEC refuses to acknowledge.

Many judges in Korea simultaneously serve as NEC commissioners.

Meaning:

The same institution accused of wrongdoing is the one issuing rulings declaring itself innocent.

This is not an independent review — it is institutional self-protection.

4. The NEC openly admits it has deleted posts across platforms and will continue monitoring.

This is a direct government-directed censorship campaign.

Combined with Korea’s earlier 966% surge in government removal requests to X, this forms a pattern of coordinated information suppression.

5. Most alarming: No transparent technical audit has ever been conducted.

No public code review, no independent machine inspection, no chain-of-custody disclosure for ballots or servers, and no third-party forensic review of A-WEB-related systems.

Despite this, the NEC declares all allegations ‘false,’ criminalizes questions, and suppresses discussion entirely.

This is not simply a Korean domestic dispute.

A government targeting a credible analyst — one repeatedly amplified by President Trump — and attempting to silence an entire online community should concern every part of the free world.

South Korea now exhibits the exact pattern of digital control used in Beijing’s influence model:

• vague allegations of ‘false information,’

• state-directed batch takedown orders,

• judicial bodies aligned with the election authority,

• zero transparency in audit procedures,

• and political narratives enforced by administrative decree.

But the core point is simple:

A state agency is formally attacking a trusted analyst whose work President Trump has repeatedly shared — all to shut down legitimate questions about election integrity.
