There's a little Church down in the valley /  With  flowers and trees all around
The old bell rings out in the tower / Such a wonderful welcoming sound.

The paint on the windows is fading / And the old door creeks under the strain
But the old Church lives deep in my memory / And some day I'll go back there again.

계곡 아래 나무와 꽃으로 둘러 쌓인 작은 교회가 하나 있지요.

오래된 종탑에서 반가이 사람들을 부르는 종소리가 울려 퍼지지요.

오래된 문틀은 뒤틀리고 창문의 칠이 낡은 교회,

그러나 나의 추억이 짙게 자리하고 언젠가는 내가 다시 돌아갈 교회
It's an old country Church in the valley / It stands all alone and so proud
It brings many people together / As they sing out their feeling aloud.
They sit side by side close to gether /There's comfort and peace all around
In the old country Church in the Valley / True happyness there I have found.

계곡의 오래된 교회, 외로이 그러나 자랑스러이 서 있는 교회

많은 사람을 불러 모아 함께하고 소리내어 찬송 부르는 교회

함께 모여 앉아 평안과 화평을 함께하는 교회

계곡의 오래된 교회, 진정한 행복을 함께 하였던 교회..

As a child I remember so clearly / The time that I worshiped and prayed
The Candle so bright as the Alter / It seemed that they never would fade.
And the choir that sang all so sweetly / Their voices so happy and bright
Oh how I long to go back there / To return to that wonderful sight.

내가 어린 시절에 예배드리고 기도하였던 것을 생생히 기억하듯이,

밝게 빛나고 결코 꺼지지 않을 것 같았던 촛불, 기쁘게 불렀던 합창,밝고 행복하였던 음성.

오! 내가 그 아름다웠던 장면들로 되돌아가 보기를 얼마나 그리워하는가..
