Let me grow lovely,growing old...
So many fine things do: Laces and ivory and gold,
And silks need not be new: And there is healing in old trees,
Old streets a glamour hold: Why may not I, as well as these,
Grow lovely, growing old......

아름다운 모습으로 나이 들게 하소서

아름다운 모습으로 나이들게 하소서...
하여야 할 좋은 일들이 너무나 많습니다: 레이스와 상아와 황금과 비단
꼭 새것만이 좋은 것은 아니지요. 오래된 나무에 치유력이 있고
오래된 거리에 아름다움이 깃들 듯 이들처럼 나도 나이 들어가며
더욱 아름다워지게 하소서.
